Abstract
Abstract An angular deceleration sensor adapted for sensing by the overrunning of a flywheel an angular deceleration in excess of a predetermined value of a detected subject which rotates in a fixed direction. A clutch is interposed between the flywheel and a drive shaft for transmitting the rotation of the subject to the flywheel, the clutch being in the form of a unidirectional clutch which assumes a locked state when the drive shaft is in a drive position with respect to the flywheel.
