Claim 1
Independent Claim
107 words
A strongly adhering artificial filling and prosthetic material, comprising: a substrate having a porous surface selected from the group consisting of porous carbon fiber, reinforced carbon material, porous titanium and porous aluminum; and a coating on and into said porous surface of said substrate, which coating comprises an admixture of a calcium phosphate compound and a water-insoluble and bio-degradable binder polymer in an amount of 5-30% by weight on the basis of the calcium phosphate compound, and is prepared by means of dip-coating, spray-coating or vacuum-impregnation of the porous surface using a slurry comprising said calcium phosphate compound, said water-insoluble and bio-degradable polymer and an organic solvent.
