Abstract An aqueous structured liquid detergent composition comprising detergents active materials and a peroxygen bleach compound, said detergent composition showing less than 25%, preferably less than 10%, more preferably less than 5% volume increase while stored at a temperature between 20 DEG and 37 DEG C. for three months after preparation.

An aqueous structured liquid detergent composition consisting essentially of detergent active materials and a soluble or partially soluble peroxygen bleach compound selected from the group consisting of hydrogen peroxide, peroxyacids, perborates, persulfates, peroxydisulfates, perphosphates and peroxyhydrates formed by reacting hydrogen peroxide with urea or alkali metal carbonate, said detergent composition having a pH between 6.5 and about 11 and showing less than 10% volume increase while stored at a temperature between 20° and 37° C. for three months after preparation.
