Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim
106 words
A lenticular filter for filtering both horizontal lines having a periodicity of P r and vertical lines having a periodicity of P s in a display device having a viewing surface, said lenticular filter comprising: a plurality of juxtaposed cylindrical lenticulations having a semicircular cross section, and a diameter substantially less than said periodicities, angularly disposed at an angle θ with respect to said horizontal and vertical lines and extending completely across said viewing surface; where: tan θ=P s /P r , and said lenticulations have a periodicity p=P s sinθ/(n+1/2) where: p=the periodicity fo said lenticulations, P s =periodicity of said vertical lines, n=an integer.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
13 words
The filter of claim 1 wherein said display is a liquid crystal display.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
12 words
The filter of claim 1 wherein said display is cathode ray tube.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
14 words
The filter of claim 1 wherein said display is a guided beam flat display.
