Abstract
Abstract A waterproof membrane useful as a coating or flashing for roofs or as a liner for containing liquids which comprises a composition containing a neutralized sulfonated EPDM polymer and asphalt, the former component comprising at least 30% by weight of the total weight of the polymer and asphalt. The composition has outstanding physical properties and an unexpectedly high tensile strength.
