Abstract

Abstract A voltage level shifting circuit having a minimum number of transistors with a single device delay is provided. Regular P and N-channel field effect transistors are used with means for increasing the threshold voltage of the input N-channel transistor. A clamping transistor is used to clamp the input node at a high voltage when the output is at a low voltage. The circuit is small in size, fast in operation, and low in power consumption.
