Method of making a display comprising thin-film transistors and capacitors
Abstract
Method of manufacturing electronic circuits based on thin film transistors and capacitors. According to the invention, this method comprises the following operations: deposition on an insulating substrate (100) of a layer (102) of a first transparent conductive material; first photoengraving applied to this first layer to form blocks (106) forming one of the frames of future capacitors, as well as sources and drains for future transistors; depositing a layer (110) of hydrogenated amorphous silicon; depositing an insulating layer (112); depositing a layer (114) of a second conductive material; second photoengraving applied to the silicon layer-insulating layer-conductive layer assembly, to delimit the control gates of the transistors. Application to the production of control circuits for display screens or BBD registers.
