Abstract

Abstract Thermosetting polyquinoline polymers, methods for preparing the polymers, and methods for curing the polymers are provided. The polymers incorporate quinoline repeat units and end groups which include a reactive acetylene functionality. On heat treatment, the reactive end groups form cross-links which render the polymer insoluble and extend the polymer's operating temperature.
