Abstract Flameproofed thermoplastic molding materials contain A) a thermoplastic polyester, B) decabromodiphenylethane, C) a metal oxide or metal sulfide or metal borate or a mixture thereof, D) an ester of at least one alcohol having at least 3 OH groups and one or more aliphatic mono- or dichaboxylic acids of 5 to 34 carbon atoms and optionally, E) by weight of conventional additives and processing assistants.
