Claim 1
Independent Claim
118 words
The process for manufacturing a laminated vascular prosthesis substrate comprising the steps of: providing a laminated vascular prothesis having a lower porosity layer impermeable to passage of one of biological tissues fragments, vascular cells and combinations thereof and a higher porosity layer permeable to passage of the one of biological tissues, fragments, vascular cells and combinations thereof, providing a pressure differential between an inside and an outside of the laminated vascular prosthesis; and introducing a dispersed solution of the one of biological tissue fragments, vascular cells and combinations thereof to a higher pressure side of the substrate and depositing and capturing the one of tissue fragments, vascular cells and combinations thereof between the lower and higher porosity layers.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
72 words
The process of claim 1, wherein the laminated vascular prosthesis is provided by coating a surface of a porous substrate with a layer of a biologically acceptable material having pores impermeable to passage of the one of biological tissue fragments, vascular cells and combinations thereof, and after introducing said dispersed solution the one of biological tissue fragments, vascular cells and combinations thereof are captured between the porous substrate and the coated layer.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
26 words
The process of claim 2, wherein the layer of biologically acceptable material is insolubilized collagen and is placed on an inner surface of the porous substrate.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
147 words
The process for manufacturing a laminated vascular, prosthesis comprising the steps of: providing a laminated vascular prosthesis substrate having a lower porosity layer impermeable to passage of one of biological tissues fragments, vascular cells and combinations thereof and a higher porosity layer permeable to passage of the one of biological tissues, fragments, vascular cells and combinations thereof, providing a pressure differential between an inside and an outside of the laminated vascular prosthesis; and introducing a dispersed solution of the one of biological tissue fragments, vascular cells and combinations thereof to a higher pressure side of the substrate and depositing and capturing the one of tissue fragments, vascular cells and combinations thereof between the lower and higher porosity layers, wherein the biological tissue fragments comprise vascular tissues, connective tissues, fat tissues and muscular tissues, and the vascular cells comprise vascular endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells and fibroblast cells.
Claim 6
