Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 23
Claim 1
Independent Claim 43 words
A method of blast cleaning a solid surface comprising; propelling an abrasive blast media against a solid surface by means of a water-containing pressurized fluid stream to strip contaminants from said surface, said blast media comprising water soluble abrasive particles and a surfactant.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 43 words
A method of blast cleaning a solid surface comprising; propelling an abrasive blast media against a solid surface by means of a water-containing pressurized fluid stream to strip contaminants from said surface, said blast media comprising water soluble abrasive particles and a surfactant.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 12 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said abrasive particles comprise sodium bicarbonate.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 14 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said pressurized fluid stream consists essentially of water.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 32 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said pressurized fluid stream is primarily air and water is added to said pressurized fluid stream as a separate stream for the purpose of dust control.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 32 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said water is mixed as a separate water stream with said pressurized fluid stream within a blast nozzle which directs said blast media to said surface.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 34 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said water is added as a separate water stream to said pressurized fluid stream externally from a blast nozzle which directs said blast media to said targeted surface.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 18 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said surfactant is added as a liquid to said separate water stream.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 16 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said surfactant is a liquid coated onto said abrasive particles.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 21 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said blast media contains carrier particles which are coated with said surfactant in liquid form.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 24 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said surfactant is selected from the sodium, potassium and ethanol amine salts of N-lauroyl, N-myristoyl or N-palmitoyl sarcosinate.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 10 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said surfactant comprises N-alkyl-2-pyrrolidones.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 16 words
