Abstract
Abstract The application is directed to an automatic dishwasher powder detergent composition with improved anti-filming and anti-spotting properties and to a method of using the detergent composition. The detergent composition comprises silica anti-filming agent, a water soluble polyacrylate antispotting agent, inorganic builder salts, chlorine bleach and bleach-stable detergent. The compositions provide reduced filming and spotting on dishware, glassware, china and the like, particularly in hard water at low temperature. The powder compositions are dry, free flowing and are highly soluble and readily dispersed in the wash bath.
