Abstract

Abstract Disclosed is an air-conditioning apparatus for an automotive vehicle so adapted as to allow its louvers disposed at air outlets for blowing or supplying air into the vehicle compartment to constantly assume their original positions when the louvers stop swinging. The swinging louvers are arranged to allow their directions in which the air is blown or supplied to be periodically changed by the swinging motor. The swinging motor is driven on the basis of a control signal from a control unit. A switching circuit of the swinging motor is provided with a first switch for being turned on or off on the basis of the signal from the control unit and with a second switch so arranged in parallel to the first switch and in association with the swinging motor as to be turned off when the swinging louvers are returned to their original positions.
