Abstract
Abstract An electroluminescent lamp panel which includes transparent and base electrodes with dielectric and phosphorescent layers therebetween and an insulation layer behind the base layer. A moisture barrier layer, such as of aluminum foil, is provided on the back of the panel behind the insulation layer. The photophorescent layer includes phosphor particles having etched surfaces in an active resin having scavenging properties.
