Abstract
Abstract Flocking adhesives are prepared from an aqueous emulsion prepared by the emulsion polymerization of a vinyl ester of an alkanoic acid interpolymerized with: (a) 10 to 30% by weight of ethylene; (b) 30 to 50% by weight of a C 4 -C 8 alkyl acrylate; (c) 1 to 5% by weight of an N-methylol containing copolymerizable monomer; (d) 0 to 4% by weight of an olefinically unsaturated carboxylic acid; and (e) 0 to 1% by weight of a polyethylenically unsaturated comonomer.
