Abstract A TWO-STEP METHOD FOR PREPARING SHAPED FOAMED BODIES FROM A PLASTIC COMPRISING A UREA BLOWING AGENT AND A COPOLYMER INCLUDING ACRYLIC ORMETHACRYLIC ACIDS AND THEIR AMIDES OR NITRILES WHICH COMPROSES FOR HEATING THE UNCONFINED PLASTIC TO FOAM IT PARTIALLY AND THEN FOAMING IT FURTHER BY HEATING AT A HIGHER TEMPERATURE WHILE THE PLASTIC IS CONFINED.
