Abstract
Abstract Provided are multilayered containers comprising a layer of a composition comprising a gas barrier resin, particularly ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, incorporating an inorganic powder such as mica, and a layer of a composition comprising a thermoplastic resin incorporating an inorganic powder such as mica. The containers are excellent in gas barrier properties, particularly in gas barrier properties after being retorted, while showing very little deformation during retort treatment, and further excellent in mechanical strengths.
