Abstract
Abstract A differential gear assembly has a friction clutch for restricting differential action. The clutch is actuated by an actuator which moves in a linear direction. The actuator is driven remotely in one embodiment by means of a rotating element, and in another embodiment by means of a spring biased pivotal element.
