Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 12
Claim 1
Independent Claim 125 words
An antacid in unit dosage form, which comprises a soft gelatin capsule containing an effective amount of a pourable and pumpable antacid suspension, which comprises from about 60 to about 70%, by weight, based on the weight of the suspension, of calcium carbonate particles suspended in a pharmaceutically acceptable non-aqueous liquid carrier compatible with gelatin and containing less than about 5% by weight of water, based on the weight of the liquid carrier, said calcium carbonate particles containing more than about 50%, by weight, of particles in the range of from about 1 to about 10 microns, based on the weight of said particles, said calcium carbonate particles being irregularly shaped and having a plurality of edges formed by the intersection of substantially planar surfaces.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 125 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 28 words
The antacid capsule according to claim 1, wherein at least 65% by weight of said particles is in said range of from about 1 to about 10 microns.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 25 words
The antacid capsule according to claim 2, wherein the amount of said particles above about 10 microns is from 0 to about 10% by weight.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 62 words
