Abstract
Abstract Thermoplastic compositions of a polyphenylene ether resin and a precompounded blend of a poly(arylolefin-olefin), an organopolysiloxane and a linking agent are described. The precompounding of the organopolysiloxane with a poly(arylolefin-olefin) enables the compatible incorporation of larger amounts of organopolysiloxane than otherwise possible, and the resulting novel composition provides various desirable properties.
