Cookware formed from a molding composition comprising a polyarylether sulfone having a reduced viscosity of from about 0.4 to greater than about 2.5 g/100 ml as measured in N-methylprolidone at 25° C., containing units of the following formula: ##STR54## where R is independently hydrogen, C 1 to C 6 alkyl or C 4 to C 8 cycloalkyl, X' is independently ##STR55## wherein R 1 and R 2 are independently hydrogen or C 1 to C 9 alkyl, or ##STR56## wherein R 3 and R 4 are independently hydrogen or C 1 to C 8 alkyl, and a 1 is an integer of 3 to 8; --S--, --O--, or ##STR57## a is an integer of 0 to 4 and n is independently an integer of 1 to 3 and wherein the ratio of unit (I) is the sum of units (II) and/or (III) is greater than 1, wherein the units are attached to each other by an --O-- bond.
