Abstract
Abstract The disclosure of this application is directed to flame retardant compositions comprising an alkylene-alkyl acrylate copolymer, a halogenated flame retardant additive, an oxide, hydroxide, carbonate or sulfate of calcium or magnesium and antimony oxide as a second flame retardant additive. The compositions, as described, can be extruded about electrical conductors to provide insulation thereon and also extruded as jacketing about telephone wires and cables.
