Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 13
Claim 1
Independent Claim 64 words
The process of purifying a composition labeled with technetium- 99m and containing unbound reduced technetium impurity and/or pertechnetate impurity which comprises contacting said labeled composition with a solid particulate substrate containing stannous phthalate precipitated from a saturated solution and a secondary antioxidant, said substrate being capable of binding a technetate ion and capable of retaining unbound reduced technetium impurity and recovering purified labeled composition.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 64 words
The process of purifying a composition labeled with technetium- 99m and containing unbound reduced technetium impurity and/or pertechnetate impurity which comprises contacting said labeled composition with a solid particulate substrate containing stannous phthalate precipitated from a saturated solution and a secondary antioxidant, said substrate being capable of binding a technetate ion and capable of retaining unbound reduced technetium impurity and recovering purified labeled composition.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 12 words
The process of claim 1 wherein said secondary antioxidant is gentisic acid.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 12 words
The process of claim 1 wherein said secondary antioxidant is ascorbic acid.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 12 words
The process of claim 1 wherein said particulate substrate is cross-linked dextran.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 12 words
The process of claim 1 wherein said composition is 99m Tc-methylene diphosphonate.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 12 words
The process of claim 1 wherein said composition is 99m -Tc-diethylenediaminepentaacetic acid.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 48 words
Apparatus for purifying a composition labeled with technetium-99m which comprises a closed container having an inert non-oxidizing atmosphere and containing a solid particulate substrate capable of binding technetate ion and capable of retaining unbound reduced technetium impurity, stannous phthalate precipitated from a saturated solution and a secondary antioxidant.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 48 words
Apparatus for purifying a composition labeled with technetium-99m which comprises a closed container having an inert non-oxidizing atmosphere and containing a solid particulate substrate capable of binding technetate ion and capable of retaining unbound reduced technetium impurity, stannous phthalate precipitated from a saturated solution and a secondary antioxidant.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 12 words
The apparatus of claim 7 wherein said secondary antioxidant is gentistic acid.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 12 words
The apparatus of claim 7 wherein said secondary antioxidant is ascorbic acid.
