Abstract

Abstract A cast coated paper which has the 20 DEG reflection gloss of 15% or more and good ink receptivity is produced by applying to a paper an aqueous coating color containing satin white in an amount of 5 to 40 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of pigments including the satin white, and a polymer latex having a Tg more than 45 DEG C. in an amount of 5 to 40 parts by weight of 100 parts by weight of the pigments including the satin white.
