Abstract

Abstract This invention is concerned with polymerizable compositions, a process for producing and polymerizing such compositions and the resultant polymerization product. Compositions comprising the reaction product of polycarbodiimides and α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids are dissolved in vinyl monomers and subject to free-radical polymerization. The polymerization product may contain up to about 300 weight percent of conventional fillers.
