Abstract
Abstract Organosilanes containing silicon-bonded oxime groups, i.e., ketoximosilanes, are prepared by reacting an halogenosilane with an alkali metal oxime, using no acid acceptors. This method of preparation is safe from the potentiality of explosive hazards that may exist inadvertently or inherently in the conventional reaction system, and also capable of producing amine chloride-free products.
