Abstract
Abstract IMIDATOSILANES ARE PREPARED BY REACTING AN IMIDATE WITH A CHLOROSILANE IN AN INERT ORGANIC SOLVENT AND IN THE PRESENCE OF AN AMINE ACID ACEPTOR. THE AMINE SALT WHICH IS FORMED AS A BY-PRODUCT OF THE REACTION IS REMOVED FROM THE IMIDATOSILANE WHICH IS FORMED BY EXTRACTING IT WITH WATER.
