Abstract
Abstract Organo silicon compounds prepared by reaction of a dialkyl hydrazine of the formula R1 ANGLE N-NH2 R2 wherein R1 and R2 are each alkyl with an epoxy silane such as an epoxy silane of the formula CH2-CH-CH2-O-(CH2)y-Si(OR5)3 ANGLE O or an epoxy silane of the formula WHERE Y IS AN INTEGER AND R5 is alkyl. The organo silicon compounds described can be employed in the treatment of glass fibers to improve the bonding relationship between glass fibers and resins or elastomeric materials.
