Claim 3
Dependent Claim
41 words
A method as defined in claim 1 wherein said particulate material is silica sand having an average particle size smaller than 74 microns and is present in said acid emulsion in a concentration between about 2 and 10 pounds per barrel.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
41 words
A method as defined in claim 2 wherein the acid solution is HCl, the vinyl polymer is selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinylpyrrolidone, and the natural gum is selected from the group consisting of guar and karaya.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
43 words
A method as defined in claim 1 wherein the concentration of vinyl polymer in the acid solution is between 0.75 and 3.0 weight percent, and the concentration of the natural gum in the acid solution is between about 0.25 and 1.0 weight percent.
