Abstract
Abstract Method for producing a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer by emulsion-polymerizing vinyl acetate and ethylene and optionally a polymerizable compound in the presence of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid diallyl ester of the following formula: H2C HCH2COOCCnHmCOOCH2-CH CH2 wherein n represents an integer of 2 to 10 and m represents 2n or 2n - 2, and/or an aromatic dicarboxylic acid diallyl ester, said diallyl esters being added in an amount of 2 mole % or less of the total reactants.
