Abstract

Abstract A process for the production of polymeric hydrocarbons having reactive silyl side groups, characterized in that cycloolefins which can be polymerized under ring opening, and which carry at least one reactive silyl group on the cycloolefin skeleton, are metathetically reacted either by themselves or with other cycloolefins which can be polymerized under ring opening and/or with hydrocarbon polymers having at least one unbranched double bond in the main chain, in the presence of metathetical catalyst.
