Abstract
Abstract The intermixture of milk or beer with an oxidizing agent and an oxidative hair-dye composition provides a greatly improved haircoloring mixture which conditions damaged hair, and provides uniform coloring throughout the entire hair. While any oxidizing agent can be successfully employed in the hair-coloring mixture of this invention, in the preferred embodiment the oxidizing agent comprises a solution of a hydrogen peroxide-yielding compound in a polyhydroxy alcohol. The use of the preferred oxidizing agent increases the conditioning effect of the haircoloring mixture and also substantially reduces the annoying effects inherent in the prior art agents.
