Abstract
Abstract WHEREIN R1 and R2 are individually selected from unsubstituted or substituted aliphatic, cycloaliphatic araliphatic or aromatic radicals, and contain not more than 18 carbon atoms each. Bilirubin, particularly as contained in body fluids, is detected by contacting a test sample with a test composition comprising A. A DIAZONIUM SALT CAPABLE OF COUPLING WITH BILIRUBIN; B. AN ACID IN AN AMOUNT SUFFICIENT FOR THE COUPLING REACTION BETWEEN SAID SALT AND BILIRUBIN AND; C. A PHOSPHORIC ACID DIESTER OF THE FORMULA:
