Abstract
Abstract Disclosed is a new structure and method for the non-linear mixing of signals with a surface wave delay line. An insulated gate field effect transistor is located on the surface of the surface wave delay line and mixing is accomplished by making use of the square law dependence of channel current on gate voltage. The square law dependence is a first order non-linear relationship and gives rise to efficient mixing.
