Abstract

Abstract Methods of constructing electrical inductive apparatus of the type having a plurality of electrical windings encapsulated in cast solid electrical insulation. At least one of the windings has a plurality of spaced electrically connected coil sections each formed of electrically conductive foil or strip, with the coil sections being fixed to metallic coil back plate members, which are supported on spaced insulating support members.
