Electromagnetic pump

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an electromagnetic pump with high efficiency by allowing each of both ends which face each other, of a rocking piston to be magnetized so as to form each of magnetic poles, which magnetically drives the rocking piston, in the stopper section of the piston. CONSTITUTION:Each of projections 14a and 14b of a reversion rotor 14 which forms a rocking piston, is magnetized to N pole and S pole respectively, and a pair of primary stater yorks 18a and 18b and a pair of secondary stater yorks 23a and 23b are provided to the stopper section of the reversion rotor 14 and the outer circumference of a pair of pump chambers 22a and 22b respectively. As the primary and secondary stater yorks 18a, 18b, 23a, and 23b are driven in such a way that each of their magnetic poles is alternately reversed so as to rock the reversion rotor, the reversion rotor 14 continues rocking so as to enable a working fluid to be delivered positively with pressure.
