Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To relieve the driver of labor, by a method wherein a foot brake maintainined in a braking condition by operating a solenoid valve is released when the depression quantity of an accelerator pedal and the return quantity of a clutch pedal reach set points and the vehicle moves forwards. CONSTITUTION:When the vehicle is stopped after braking, a solenoid valve 19 is operated to inhibit a working fluid from being returned, and the foot brake is maintained in the braking condition. When the accelerator is depressed and the clutch pedal is gradually returned, the vehicle is set into a semi-clutched condition, and tends to move forwards. As a result, both an output from a comparator 8 and an output from a comparator 10 are made to be H respectively by an output signal from an acceleration sensor 1 and an output signal from a clutch sensor 3. Since an output from a comparator 12 is made to L by an output signal from a speed sensor 4 in response to starting of the forward movement of the vehicle, an output from an AND circuit 15 is made to be H, and an output from a flip-flop circuit 17 is made to be L. Accordingly, an output from an output circuit 18 is made to be L, so that the valve 19 is opened to release the braking condition.
