Operating method for power supply of amplifier or the like of common reception system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To reduce power consumption by supplying power to an amplifier only when a receiver is in operation by providing a control part to the TV signal amplifier and also by equipping each receiver with a detection part. CONSTITUTION: Television signal amplifier 3 of a common reception system is provided with control part 5, and detection part 6 is also arranged near high-tension generating part 8 of each TV receiver 4 to send a horizontal signal (a horizontal deflecting signal from a fly-back transformer) leaking out from receiver 4 to control part 5 through feeder 2. A TV signal is transmitted through filter 20 to cut off a detection and filter 21 provided in addition to filter 20 is given characteristics reverse to it. Next, since switching circuit 22 sends power from power part 23 to amplifier 3 on receiving the signal through filter 21, no detection signal arrives when none of receiver 4 is in operation. As a result, switching circuit 22 cuts off the power supply from power supply part 23 to amplifier 3 and amplifier 3 stops operating. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
