Tape loading mechanism of magnetic tape device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To constitute a small-sized, lightweight device by providing two loading rings which rotate in the opposite direction, two tape guide blocks provided with guide posts, and a block guiding member which guides the movement of one tape guide block. CONSTITUTION:The loading rings 67 and 68 are supported freely rotatably on the top surface of a chassis 16 and rotates in the opposite direction. Those loading rings 67 and 68 are arranged concentrically at different heights outside of a drum base 42. One tape guide block 90 is provided with guide posts 93 and 94, and the other guide block 91 is provided with guide posts 128 and 129. A magnetic tape is wound around a drum 57 through those guide posts. Further, a tape guide block 91 is fitted to the upper loading ring 67, and the tape guide block 90 is supported on guide block guide members 85 and 85' movably and linked to the lower loading ring 68.
