Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To elevate the space efficiency, by operating an interlocked gear which has been placed so as to be opposed to a driving gear rotating together with rotation of a capstan, when a loading ring has been rotated to a prescribed position, and executing the press-contacting operation of a pinch roller. CONSTITUTION:When recording and reproducing, a capstan shaft 19 and a driving pulley 44 are rotated by the first motor 12, and loading rings 75, 84 are rotated by the second motor 16. Before the loading operation is finished, the first arm 70 of a stopper member 69 hooks a hook pin 67 of an interlocking gear 64, and a driving gear 46 provided on a driving pulley 44 is opposed to a notched toothe part 65a of the interlocking gear 64. In this state, when the loading ring 84 is rotated and a hollowed part 87 is fitted into a roller 117 of a release lever 115, the stopper member 69 is rotated, and the opposition of the notched toothe part 65a and the driving gear 46 is released. In this way, a cam part 66 presses a pressure lever 58, and a pinch roller 53 is made to press-contact with a capstan shaft 19.
