Charging device for cassette of copying machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of an operating error and to improve maneuverability, by constituting a cassette rechargeable type copying machine such that a cam mechanism, which tightens a cassette at a time when each cassette is inserted, is installed, and a cassette attaching side is preferentially brought into a paper feeding condition. CONSTITUTION:Rotation of a normal and reverse motor is transferred to a gear 25 and gears 19, 22 from a gear 18-1, and the gear 25 causes rotary discs 26 and 29 to turn in a reverse direction to each other to bring either of press rollers 32 and 33 into a sheet press state. The gears 19 and 22 allow cams 20 and 23 to spin in a reverse direction to each other. For example, if a cassette 17 is brought to a feeding condition by tightening it, a pin 17-1 of the cassette 17 engages a recess 20-1 in a cam 20, and a press roll 33 presses a paper 17-2 in the cassette 17 against a paper feed roller 34-2, which results in enabling to feed a paper. Then, the side of a cassette 16 is held in a free state. If a motor reverses and the cassette 16 is inserted, the operation reverses. This permits the prevention of the occurrence of an operating error.
