Device for automatically changing over copier setting mode

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To facilitate cassette exchange, by detecting cassette unloading, releasing means for setting the cassette, inserting a new cassette, and providing device for automatically changing over cassette setting, actuating releasing means to unload the cassette, and returning the cassette to set it. CONSTITUTION: Cassette 2 is withdrawn in the arrow direction, resulting in turning on detection switch 8, actuating upper plunger 20, turning clockwise upper setting board 18 against tension spring 21, moving upper setting lever 9 out of cassette 2, and thus, releasing the setting state of cassette 2. A new cassette is inserted, and at that time it turns off detection switch 8, resulting in extending operation lever 20a of plunger 20, turning board 18 anticlockwise, introducing lever 9 into the cassette, and thus returning the cassette in the setting state. When the upper cassette is in operation, the lower cassette is brought into operation by turning a selective lever downward. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
