Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent an abnormal increase of a pressure in a compression chamber at the time of liquid compression by providing a regulating means to regulate a fixed scroll diametrically, a pin mechanism to regulate it in the direction of the circumference, and a spring mechanism to push it toward an oscillation scroll. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical part 35c of the same height as a scroll side plate 35b of a fixed scroll 35 is provided on the outer circumferential side of the scroll side plate 35b, and the cylindrical part 35c is engaged with an inner diametric surface 36a of a frame 36. A bolt 37 for regulating the fixed scroll 35 diametrically is provided. A pin 39 penetrated a base plate 35a of the cylindrical part 35c and the upper end surface of the frame 36 for regulating the fixed scroll 35 in the direction of the circumference is provided at the upper end surface of the base plate 35a. A spring member 38 for pushing the fixed scroll 35 axially toward an oscillation scroll is provided. In the case a pressure in a compression chamber 10 is increased rapidly by production of liquid compression by liquid back or flooded start during operation of a scroll compressor, therefore, a pressure relief is achieved to restrict an abnormal pressure increase.
