Silver halide photographic sensitive material

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To induce sufficiently hard contrasting with the low pH of a developing soln. and to minimize the fluctuation in photographic performance even if the pH fluctuates by incorporating at least one kind selected from hydrazine derivatives having specific compsns. and amines into emulsion layers or other hydrophilic colloidal layers. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind selected from the hydrazine derivatives expressed by formula I and the amines are incorporated into the emulsion layers or the other hydrophilic colloidal layers. In formula, A1, A2 both denote a hydrogen atom or one thereof denotes a hydrogen atom and the other denotes a sulfonyl group or acyl group; R1 denotes an aliphat. group or arom. group or heterocyclic group. G1 denotes a carbonyl group, sulfonyl group, sulfoxy group, etc., or denotes an iminomethylene group; X1 is such a group which induces the cyclization reaction to split a -G1-X1 part from the remaining molecules and to form the cyclic structure contg. the atoms of the -G1-X1 part. The sufficient high contrasting is induced with the low pH of the developing soln. in this way and the change in the photographic performance is minimized even if the pH fluctuates.
