Abstract

Abstract Carrier wave recovery circuit provided with automatic and rapid acquisition assistance means. The circuit comprises a voltage-controllable oscillator delivering a demodulating wave and a processing means producing an error signal epsilon ( phi ) able to control this oscillator. According to the invention, this processing means comprises a phase comparator and means of producing a binary signal whose state is characteristic of the deviation in frequency between the received modulated wave and the wave from the oscillator. This filtered binary signal constitutes the error signal epsilon ( phi ). Application to digital transmissions.
