Abstract
Abstract Material and process for rectifying a bone defect by filling in with bone tissue using a bioreactive granulate inducing osteostimulation, the particles of this granulate being disintegrated from within, dissolved and replaced by bone tissue, the granulate containing 40 to 55 % of SiO2, 10 to 32 % of Na2O, 0 to 12 % P2O5 and 10 to 32 % of CaO, and having a particle size of between 280 and 425 mu m, sharp edges, an irregular profile and microfissures or surface microdefects.
