Radiation detector in matrix form
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to an imaging device (10) of the type in particular which combines a scintillator screen (11) and a matrix (1) of photosensitive elements (D). It is particularly concerned with means making it possible to reduce an active area (Sa) of a photosensitive element (D) much more than the quantity of light to which this photosensitive element (D) is exposed. <??>To achieve this, the scintillator (11) comprises an input screen (20) and an output screen (15) applied respectively to an input face (21) and an output face (16) of the scintillator (11). The output screen (11) has an opening (18) allowing light emitted by the scintillator (11) to pass. The openings (18) are arranged in a matrix formation and are indexed over the array of photosensitive elements (D). <IMAGE>
