Abstract

Abstract A MOS type output driver circuit comprising an output circuit having first ans second MOS type output transistors (T 01 , T 02 ) connected between a voltage supply (Vcc) and the ground, the gates of the first and second output transistors (T 01 , T 02 ) respectively supplied with first and second drive signals (X, X - ) being mutually inverted, further comprising a protective circuit for (C 1 , C 2 and C 3 ) preventing the output transistors (T 01 , T 02 ) from being damaged by overcurrent when the output is shorted to the ground.
