Abstract
Abstract An electrical connector ( 1 ) includes an insulative housing ( 10 ) for receiving a number of contacts ( 2 ), and a metal shield ( 3 ) enclosing the insulative housing ( 1 ). The metal shield includes a first frame ( 401 ) and a second frame ( 402 ). The first and second frames share a partition wall ( 403 ) therebetween. The second frame includes a second bottom face ( 4023 ) defining a mating slot. The partition wall has a fixing portion ( 4032 ) wedged into the mating slot for ensuring a firm configuration of the second frame ( 402 ).
