Abstract
Abstract A modular plug includes a mating portion having a latch for engaging a jack and a slidable housing having a first end and a second end. The slidable housing receives the mating portion at the first end and the slidable housing is adapted to slide along the mating portion and engage the mating portion. A a cable is connected to the mating portion and extends through the second end of the slidable housing. A locking member is in operable communication with both the slidable housing and the cable.
